Out of Hours & Emergencies
Outside opening hours, you should dial 111 and your call will go through to the NHS 111 service that handles out of hours services on behalf of the practice. A Health Information Advisor will take your details and carry out a detailed assessment. You will then be given appropriate advice.
If you need to see a doctor you might be asked to go to a special out-of-hours centre, or a doctor may visit you at home.
Your local pharmacy can also offer a range of services, including advice and medicines to relieve symptoms of minor ailments.
Responsibility for the provision of out of hours care rests with the Nottingham West CCG.
Please do not ask to see a doctor out of hours unless you genuinely cannot wait until the surgery re-opens.
Please Call 999 only in a genuine medical emergency.
